APIDS certification underlines that AI and automation play a key role in aviation security. The EU ECAC APIDS Standards certify the algorithms which automate the process of image analysis and Smiths Detection iCMORE APIDS algorithms are being tested with the HI-SCAN 6040 CTiX, HI-SCAN 6040aTiX and HI-SCAN 6040-2is HR for EDS CB C1, C2 or C3 approval. Once approved, the systems provides a more streamlined screening process with increased operational efficiency.
